Elk Espresso has unveiled its vibrant new Spring breakfast and lunch menus, bringing together bold global flavours and creative twists on café favourites.
The latest menu showcases a collection of vibrant dishes designed to capture the essence of Spring, from the indulgent Mandarin French Toast with fresh mandarin, white chocolate mousse and mango sorbet, to the refreshing Yuzu Coconut Panna Cotta layered with tropical fruits and house-made granola. Savoury favourites include the Spring Bowl, packed with seasonal greens, quinoa and honey orange dressing, alongside standout dishes such as the Salmon Bagel with beetroot gravlax and finger lime, and the Asparagus Toast featuring citrus macadamia cream and poached eggs.

This September, The Oasis is proud to welcome the return of SWELL Sculpture Festival, bringing art beyond the gallery and into everyday spaces for our community to enjoy.
As part of this year's festival program, visitors will have the opportunity to experience Forest Dwellers, a striking sculptural installation by Brisbane-based artist collective Monte Lupo. Located on Ground Level near Base Café, the artwork will be on display throughout the month of September.
Inspired by the quiet beauty and organic forms of the forest, Forest Dwellers introduces a sense of nature, curiosity and calm into the bustling environment of the shopping centre. Through thoughtful spatial design and playful sculptural elements, the installation invites visitors to slow down, observe and engage with the work.
More than simply an artwork, Forest Dwellers has been designed as a welcoming place to reflect and connect. Whether you're stopping by for a coffee, meeting friends or enjoying a day of shopping, the installation offers a moment of creativity, discovery and connection within the everyday.
Founded in 1991 by disability support organisation Multicap, Monte Lupo is a Brisbane-based artist collective that supports artists living with disability through meaningful creative employment opportunities. Today, the studio is home to more than 19 artists who work alongside professional mentors to develop their artistic practice and create distinctive works of art.
Specialising in ceramics, Monte Lupo is renowned for its colourful, expressive and instantly recognisable style. Drawing inspiration from the Tuscan village of Montelupo Fiorentino, where ceramics are traditionally bold and vibrant, the artists have developed a unique visual language that has become synonymous with the studio.
